Grace Santos is an award winning Filipino-American producer. Her producing credits include upcoming teen comedy “Almost Popular” starring Ruby Rose Turner and family comedy “How the Gringo Stole Christmas” starring George Lopez, and award winning productions at Oscar qualifying film festivals such as “Silk” by Catherine Dent (“The Shield”) starring Oscar Nominee and Emmy Winner Shohreh Aghdashloo, and “Election Night” by Tessa Blake (“NCIS”) starring Peri Gilpin (“Frasier”).
Grace Santos has worked as a Hollywood Executive for fourteen years at companies and organizations that have financed, produced, and distributed hundreds of films and series. As VP of Business Affairs and Operations for Gamechanger Films (CEO Effie Brown), she worked on A24, Blumhouse, Amazon Studios, and Universal films, which have garnered awards and nominations, including the Golden Globes, Independent Spirit Awards, and Gotham Awards.
Grace worked for financier/producer Michael Mendelsohn’s Patriot Pictures and continues to produce films with Patriot, including upcoming “How the Gringo Stole Christmas” starring George Lopez (to be released during the holidays in 2023) and teen comedy “Almost Popular” to be released in 2024. As VP of Business Affairs for companies owned by Producer Steven Paul, Grace negotiated development, production (Hallmark and Paramount projects), domestic distribution (acquisitions and sales, output deal with SONY), and foreign sales deals. Grace was VP and one of the year-round staff for the Bentonville Film Festival, which has a mission to promote women in entertainment by helping them secure distribution deals with its sponsors Paramount Studios, SONY, Warner Bros, and Lionsgate. When Grace worked for AMC Networks divisions Image Entertainment / RLJ Entertainment, UMC/ALLBLK, and AcornTV, she was mentioned several times in the trades for closing multi-million dollar deals. Her first Hollywood opportunity was interning for the creative development team at Silver Pictures / Dark Castle Entertainment.
Grace graduated from the University of Miami with a double major in Religious Studies and International Studies and a Minor in Theatre Arts, studied for one year at Flinders University of South Australia, earned a Juris Doctor from Stetson College of Law, and the film/tv producing certificate from the UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television. Grace was one of twelve participants selected out of hundreds for the 2020 Producers Guild of America Power of Diversity Lab. Grace also co-founded the nonprofit Possible Films with Tammy Briant, Ciara McCarthy, and Michael Roark, and she is owner/CEO of Ethos Pictures.
